Payments are handled by Stripe, which supports eight families of payment method: cards, wallets, bank redirects, bank debits, bank transfers, buy now pay later, real-time payments and vouchers.
Checkout offers a single route, shown as Card, PayPal, iDEAL & more, and the payment page behind it shows the methods available for your currency and country — open it to see your own options. You can also prepay into a credit balance and let invoices draw from it.

Which methods you can use
Nobody is offered every method. The list is decided by three things: the currency of your invoice, the country of your card or bank, and sometimes the device you are on — Apple Pay only appears on Apple devices, for instance.

So the reliable answer is the page itself. Place the order as described in Checkout and payment; the payment page that follows lists exactly what you can use for that invoice. If what you need is missing, ask us in a support ticket — some methods can be enabled on request.
The options, and when they suit best
- Cards confirm at once and fit anything, including renewals. Watch the expiry date — the usual reason a renewal fails.
- Wallets confirm at once, the fastest checkout on a phone, only appear on a device that supports them.
- Bank redirects confirm at once, you pay from your bank account without typing card details. You need your banking app or login to approve.
- Bank debits take a few banking days and are made for invoices that repeat month after month. Set up the mandate before an invoice is due.
- Bank transfers take a few banking days and suit large invoices and company accounts. Quote the reference for funds to allocate automatically.
- Buy now, pay later confirms at once and spreads a large one-off cost — afterwards you owe the provider, not us.
- Real-time payments confirm in seconds. Available regionally.
- Vouchers clear when you pay in person, so the invoice waits until the money reaches us.
Cards
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners, JCB, UnionPay, and regional networks such as Cartes Bancaires and eftpos. Cards confirm instantly and are the simplest choice for a service you keep long-term, because renewals can be charged automatically. Keep an eye on the expiry date: an expired card is the most common reason a renewal fails.
Wallets
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, PayPal, Revolut Pay, MobilePay, Cash App Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay and others. A wallet is usually a faster way to present a card you have already saved, and it carries your billing details with it, so there is nothing to type. Digital wallets account for roughly 30% of European e-commerce and about 37% of transactions in the United States.
Bank redirects
iDEAL | Wero (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), BLIK and Przelewy24 (Poland), EPS (Austria), TWINT (Switzerland), FPX (Malaysia), PayNow (Singapore), UPI (India). You are sent to your own bank to approve the payment, so no card details are entered anywhere. These are often the dominant way to pay locally — iDEAL accounts for around 69% of digital purchases in the Netherlands, and Bancontact is offered by more than 80% of Belgian online businesses.
Bank debits
SEPA Direct Debit (34 European countries), ACH Direct Debit (United States), Bacs Direct Debit (United Kingdom), BECS (Australia and New Zealand), Canadian PADs. You authorise a mandate once, and later invoices are collected automatically — the natural fit for hosting you intend to keep. They take a few working days to clear, so set the mandate up before an invoice is due rather than on the due date.
Bank transfers
SEPA bank transfer, UK bank transfer, USD bank transfer, and domestic transfers in Mexico and Japan. Suited to large invoices and to company accounts where card limits get in the way. Always quote the reference we give you so the money is matched to your invoice automatically.
Buy now, pay later
Klarna, Afterpay | Clearpay, Affirm, Zip, and Meses sin intereses in Mexico. Your invoice is paid in full immediately, and you settle with the provider in instalments. Availability varies by country, and some of these are limited to certain regions.
Real-time payments
Pix (Brazil), PayNow (Singapore), PromptPay (Thailand), PayTo (Australia), Swish (Sweden). Money moves directly from your bank account, confirmed in seconds, usually authorised with a phone number or an app.
Vouchers
Multibanco (Portugal), Konbini (Japan), OXXO (Mexico), Boleto (Brazil). You are given a code and pay in cash at a shop, bank or ATM. The invoice is marked paid once the money reaches us, so allow for the delay before a service is due.
Which should you choose?
-
You want the service now — a card, a wallet, a bank redirect or a real-time payment. All confirm within seconds, so provisioning starts immediately.
-
You are keeping the service for a long time — a card or a bank debit, so renewals are collected without you doing anything.
-
You are paying a large invoice from a company account — a bank transfer, allowing a few working days.
-
Your accounting prefers one payment a year — prepay into your credit balance and let invoices draw from it. See Invoices and credit balance.

Frequently asked questions
-
Which payment methods does Advanced Hosting accept?
The methods Stripe makes available for your invoice's currency and your country are drawn from cards, wallets, bank redirects, bank debits, bank transfers, buy now pay later, real-time payments and vouchers. Your own list is shown on the payment page after you place the order.
-
Why do I see fewer payment methods than someone else?
Because availability depends on the currency of the invoice, the country of your bank or card, and your device. Two customers in different countries are legitimately offered different lists.
-
Can I pay for hosting by bank transfer?
Where a bank transfer is offered for your currency, yes. Allow a few working days for it to clear, and quote the payment reference so it is matched to your invoice.
-
Can I pay with PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay?
These are wallet methods and appear when they are available for your currency, country and device. If you need one that is not shown, ask us in a support ticket.
-
Which method is best for recurring hosting invoices?
A card or a bank debit such as SEPA Direct Debit. Both let later invoices be collected automatically, so a service is never suspended over a missed payment.
-
Are my card or bank details stored by Advanced Hosting?
No. They are entered on the payment provider's own page. We never see or store them.
